The Countdown Continues

Dec 09, 2004 10:42

Ok, the realization is finally hitting with full strength. With less than a week and a half to go, I will soon be a college graduate; meaning acting like an adult for like at least 8 hours a days is shortly around the corner...

I'm curious if I have the stamina for the 9-5. Would I be happy? Who really knows?

All I really know is that I'll have fun trying at least. My goodness...optimism is running rampant in my veins once again. One would think I'd be more scared...that is my usual nature, but I think that stage is over now. I'm in the acceptance and anticipation stage...like any other big event in my life I guess.

Now, I must disclose my list of things I wanted to accomplish before I graduate from college:

1. Do karaoke at least once.... Check
2. Randomly jump in the Fox... (I'm doing the Polar Plunge, random in
decision process)
3. Have a beer at Nigl's just to say that I did that
4. Go mud wrestling... Check
5. Run around campus in my blaze orange... Check
6. Go to a Bon Jovi Concert... Check
7. Drive to at least 5 other campuses to party... Check
8. Get involved on campus and make a name for myself for at least one semester...
Check
9. Go to a frat party... Check
10.Learn how to play two new sports... Check tennis, football, water polo

As you can see, there is only one left to be checked. I think I shall cross that one off very soon. To all who have witnessed one or more of these events, it has been an exciting 4 and a half years. Thank you.
