"Cuz I'm taking care of business.."
A musical moment if you will.
Dan has yet again inspired me a bit. Last night we did something that we haven't done in a long time. Besides play cribbage (BTW...not only did I win, I skunked him! mark that one for the books.), we also took the time to review some of Dan's book that he wants to submit to a publisher before New Year's. Believe it or not from first draft to where it's at now, his writing has developed ten-fold. I am so proud of him. It's like he's back. The light in his eyes...the expression on his face. I couldn't be happier for him or with him.
Except for the fact that he keeps on torturing me by talking about my Christmas present to other people and then telling me how many people know what I'm getting while I haven't a clue. What a little sheister!
Oh well, it's not like I don't play games with him either. Like when I fooled him into thinking that I bought a new car without telling him. LOL...I think that's the best I've ever conned him.
Seriously though, we are both going to be in the market for a new car very shortly. He is in a bit more need of a new car. Yep, I think we're growing up.
Anywho, due to Dan's newfound enthusiasm with his book, I've decided to dig mine out and work on it again. Granted I am by far inferior when it comes to writing style but it is one of those things that really makes me happy.
So, as I said in my prior Livejournal entry, I've been inspired.
