Sleep, I really could do with some.

I've not been sleeping properly for the last few weeks, and this week just seems to have got worse.

Monday morning I woke up at 3am and tossed and turned for 2 hours until the alarm went off.  Tuesday I actually stayed asleep until 10 mins before my alarm, but then went down hill again on Wednesday by waking up at 4am then drifting back off until 8.30am.  Thursday looked positive by not waking until 6am, I stayed in bed until 8am but didn't go back to sleep.  However, this morning was just awful, I woke at 2.30, then again and 3, and then every 20 mins after that until the alarm went off.

I have tried all the usual remedies to help me sleep, but my problem is not actually getting to sleep, it's staying asleep, so my nice hot lush bath last night helped me drift off but not stay there.  Obviously the problem is I'm getting very tired during the day from lack of sleep but I have no idea what's waking me, I can't remember any dreams and I don't feel upset or distressed when I wake, so I can't figure this out.

If anyone has gone through this also do you have any advise?
