they had them in DC during the cherry blossom festival! There's also a mandarin oriental in DC, which is fantastically gorgeous. too bad i didn't get to try any of the food there even though i volunteered a whole day there for the festival. oh wait, i take that back- i had duck, etc, sake, beer...leftovers of the VIP room.

sorrie i dont feel tempted ho ho ho.. 1st of all im never that much into dessert.. 2nd of all.. thats the thing about fancy restaurants.. they decore the place so nice but whats inside dont really look that tempting.. heh heh.. i mean id be more tempted if i see a bowl of hot ramen or takoyaki.. :P

Ignore her... she doesn't know what she's talking about :x I'm totally tempted - that's the thing I miss most about NY - the great cuisine within such easy reach. I know what I'm missing ;_; Of course I don't miss the prices lol. Restaurant Weeks are great heh heh.

Btw, I don't have time to check out that Asiate place. The night I was going to check it out (all the other nites we have booked with friends), my sis in law wants us to go to Tao Restaurant for squishy's birthday - her treat so I can't tell her choose another restaurant. I don't know why she's picking this place though since squishy has been there before but whatever. Can't wait - mmm~ Bad for diet plans though :x

heh heh well im a junkie for cheap street food.. i mean i never have a craving to eat something fancy like french.. its like i go to those restaurants whenever i feel like being rich lol

well i go to it just to try out new food. i mean i'm all for cheap street food too but you gotta go out and explore what the world has to offer too u know =P
