CHICAGO!!!!!!!!
I had the most amazing weekend. Let me tell you!
Friday, I picked up those crazy UofMers (Neil, Angelina, Pat and Laura) at like 1 and then we were off to Chi Town. We had the funniest conversations in the car on the way there. "I just want everyone to get naked... and talk" OMG we met so many friends in traffic on the way there! haha it all started with a sign that said "good afternoon." and ended with Angelina calling Scott back and asking if he was cheating on her with the car next to us. Funny funny. We got there... ok i don't know what time but it doesn't matter.Met in Kurtz's room in Evanston and just chilled until Mel got out of class and we hit up clarke's for dinner. Good times. The MSU kids finally got there after getting lost 8 times!!! hahaha We walked around Evanston and got tours of Kurtz's, Gabe's and Mel's dorms. Then some of us (who did not have homework) went to an awesome magic show! It was so phenomenal! I'm so glad I went. So creepy. We kept making the biggest scaredy cat faces at each other. So funny. Creepy little ghost girl running around. hahaha "go step on her." Then we were all just so tired that I'm pretty sure we just went to bed spooning JC style.
Saturday was good times. We woke up SOOO early and went to Cosi for breakfast! Mmmm. Then some of us (aside from mel and angelina) went to chicago to do some shopping and whatnot. Really fun. I bought way too much. Oh well, some were christmas presents. We went to Ed Debeviks for fun times. haha Jake was terrified!! We had a good time with Pickles!! haha "does your real name include the exclamation points?" haha Christina!!
So, the Chicago group split and some stayed to shop while others of us took the train back to get ready for the game. Although i really didn't care either way since I'm not a big fan of either school, it was still a fun game and I still wanted to go. On the train ride home... a lot went down which ended in my laughing/crying hysterically and everyone pretty much peeing their pants. We got scammed and me and Darren are out a lot of money. that's my story. laugh at me all you want. We all get a pretty good laugh out of it. Anyways...I got to be Danielle Johnson for the night and dress up in Northwestern gear. that was funny. Neil almost got us killed by screaming for UofM in their student section. We left the game a little early because, honestly, in ended long before we left. Took forever to get on the bus back "GABE!!!!" haha. Finally arrived in Mel's lobby and had a pow wow with the kids who stayed in chicago and then the pizza finally came!! Really good pizza! Pretty expensive though! $100. We played lots of random games like the hand slap game and danced around and got to be JCs for awhile. Then Mel was ready for us to enter her basement for a show. She made an awesome slide show with tons of pictures from camp and the last reunion and even of us eating pizza like an hour before. It was sad but made us all sooo happy! We said our good nights and took off for bed where we had funny funny bedtime conversations about "spooning, sporking, tonging, offset tonging etc." and how efficient a "foon" would be but we decided it would pretty much just be a slotted spoon.
Mel's brother and friend left early this morning at like 7:30. I woke up to "hey, let's steal their stuff. midsleep, I laughed. Then..."don't worry about beth's purse, she doesn't have any money anyways." haha oh man. with an additional witty closing remark of something to the extent of me not giving away my money anymore.
We Panera-ed it this morning and all departed to the appropriate vehicles. It was sad leaving everyone cuz we all get along so well and have the absolute bes time when we're all together, but it was soooo fun to be able to spend that time with them. After some more fun conversations and crazy games, I dropped off the UofM kids and returned to home where I am now residing and freezing and missing my JCs.
