Deaf Camp Meeting

Hey! WOW...what an experience! This past Thursday I went up to Stuart Virginia to a Deaf Camp Meeting! WOW...thats the coolest thing ever! But it was different...there was no one saying AMEN, but everybody was like shaking their hand up above their heads. It was cool. One of the preacher's name was Allen Snare. He is completely deaf. He cannot read lips. So I didnt really talk to him...b/c I dont know ALOT of sign language. His wife died in Jan. 2006. So that wasnt too long ago. I'm not sure what his kids names are. Then the other preacher's name was Samuel Wood. He is completely deaf and so is his wife. His wifes name is Lynda. But their 3 son's are all hearing. THAT'S AMAZING! His son's names are Matt, David, and John. They are pretty cool. Bro. Samuel has a church in NC. He preaches and Matt interprets what he is saying...that how I listened in the meeting! Lol...b/c I would have been falling asleep in the service, b/c it was SO quiet! Matt and David also sign songs like Ms Maria Podberski does. But we were under an "Old-Fashion Gospel Tent." Sitting in folding chairs that mad your butts hurt. But thats ok! B/c the services were AWSOME. The messages were a/b "Whats your Image" and "The Judgement." So you can almost bet that they were good. But keep Bro. Allen Snare and his kids in your prayers. Keep the Wood Family in your prayers. Keep the owner in your prayers. And also keep the "Craftsmen for Christ" in your prayers. I didnt want to go, but thank God for a Godly mother that MADE me go. I'm SO glad she did! But now i wouldnt change it for NOTHING! It was the BEST weekend I've EVER had! THANKS MOM!
