So for Jess's birthday, it has kind of become a tradition of mine to make a fun (read: nerdy) cake. This year I followed Shaun's suggestion and made her a 1-Up Cake!
I'm a little too pleased with myself about how it turned out. People have been telling me I should look into making cake baking a more serious hobby, and I think I'm finally going to do it. I looked up some local cake decorating classes and hopefully this week I'm going to sign up for one that starts next month! I've been bouncing around with excitement all afternoon about it! :)
