well my roommate came in on wednesday and we stayed at 4 different marriotts in the city because she works for marriott and they do this holiday trade out program where employees can get a room for free for one to two nites and her boyfriend lives in the city so she came to visit and the 3 of us stayed at hotels..i am going to rate them for you guys :o)
Hotel #1--Marriott Renaissance 7th Ave & W49th St.
Stars: ***** out of a possible 5
Bathroom:very large, marble, huge freakin tub w.marble ledge for glasses/bottles,
very clean,bio shamp/cond (the good shit)
Beds: two double beds, down comforter, down blanket and pillows, extra sheets
and a shit load of pillows, soooo comfortable
Misc: mini bar, tv, view of time sq, large room, wireless connection, dark wood,
very sophisticated
Hotel #2--Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge Adams St.
Stars: *** out of a possible 5
Bathroom:large, no marble, regular tub, nutragena shamp/cond
Beds: acceptable comforter, only two pillows on each double bed
Misc: big room, light and airy, mini bar, tv, wireless connection, lamp w.a bad
plug that zapped jess, wire across floor that i tripped on, coffee pot
Hotel #3--Marriott on East Side E49th and Lexington Ave.
Stars: **** out of a possible 5
Bathroom:tiny!! regular tub, stuff on curtain, clean, not enough towels
Beds: comfy, heavy comforter, only two pillows and 2 really small decorative
pillows
Misc: very tiny room, cozy, dark furnishings, mini bar
Hotel #4--Marriot Marquis Time Square Baby!
Stars: ***** out of 5
Bathroom:large, regular tub w.ledge, clean, marble sink counter, lots of towels
Beds: warm, cozy, nice amount of pillows
Misc: coffee station, huge room, gorgeous view of time sq, 21st floor!, able to
rent dvd/vcr player for $150 bux, really expensive
All in all the hotels were awesome. REally expensive room service. We went to see the statue of liberty (my first time) but we didnt get to ellis island unfortunatly. I made Jess and Anthony stand on the top deck in the rain cuz i was to nauseous to stand inside lol sorry guys! we went for dinner at olive garden w.kirby..really expensive lol, i went to museum of natural history then me n kirb went to see white noise in time sq! go see it...good stuff...went to pizzeria uno yummy..went bar hopping on sunday w.this guy matt and every bar we went to kept closing down lol...he told me i was confusing and hard to read too...never been told that...he said i make him unsure of himself because he doesnt want to make a wrong move lol...oops...o well..worked out nice...hopefully get to see him again..went to a few bars on fri w.jess ant and ringo and some of his friends...all in all it was good stuff!
