sledding
haven't posted in ages, but had a rather funny/painful story to tell.
i went sledding! haven't been sledding in years and the hill was most unimpressive but still exciting. kati, roger and i get there and realize there is a bit more ice than originally thought. we survive a few downhill slides, and then we tried to walk up the hill instead of walking around and taking the stairs. i, of course, fall flat on my face after slipping, and take the brunt of the fall on my chin. this is hilarious to watch, as i am laughing, and roger and kati are laughing as well. unfortunately it hurt like a sonofabitch in my jaw joints by my ears. for a few hours, i was unable to close my mouth or eat anything. luckily it seems to have resolved with just a bit of minor lingering pain today (this happened sunday). best part is when my doctor asked if i was drinking :) of course i wasn't! i am just that graceful. my arm, butt and knee also hurt, but honestly...
it was worth it :)
