so basically...
i just got a paper back from my english class, which i think i did really well on. and my teacher agreed with me. EXCEPT he was like, your paper was SO GOOD that your conclusion only seemed mediocre in comparison, so i gave you an A-. WHAT THE FUCK!!!
of course, i'm annoyed over an A- rather than an A. but MrRrrrrr told me he expects me to get an A+++ in this class, esp cuz it's SO EASY compared to lit. and i'd BETTER.
i hope kyle meets me here (in the library) cuz i really want him to study for this com101 test. plus, my com110 prof thinks that group study is the BEST way to study. so it'd be mutally benificial.
today i BOMBED a GSC103 exam and a com110 reading quiz. 5/10 on the reading quiz. and i READ the chapter. usually i read it 3 times, but this time i only read it once... oops.
and the GSC103 exam... i think i answered 3 of the 4 essay questions sufficiently well, and i knew the extra credit somewhat, but one of the essay questions was, "What is isostasy?" and really... i had no fucking idea.
so i wrote that it had to do with like, looking @ the strata of the earth's sediments and predicting the composition of lower layers... you know, thinking isostasy sounds like isometric like those drawings we used to do in tech that we looked @ from the sides and stuff? so looking @ the earth @ a cross-section?? haha too bad it was SO WRONG.
weights kicked my ass today. i could totally taste my lunch the whole time. now, if they had better options for lunch that wouldn't have been the case, would it?? i hate the dining hall!!
today in study hall, meghan and i were talking when GNOMEY walked in. so he was bending over @ a comp in front of me, so i threw my pen and hit him in the ass. hahahahaha. then he wouldn't give it back! and it was a cool pen!! so then i fought with him and he eventually gave it to meghan, just cuz he's her "boyfriend!!" that "slut". hahaha. it was so funny.
also, i was telling sarah (aussie) and karen (canadian) about how whenever i wave at OTHER people this one "sexy" XC always thinks i'm waving at HIM. and we laughed. and then i turned around like 5 min later and realize he had been RIGHT BEHIND ME the whole time. ooooops!
hopefully he didn't realize i was talking about him. hehehehe.
practice is going REALLY WELL. as of today, i know my boat is called the v4 (varsity 4) and it kicks ass. it's a lot of fun and we've been really together and doing really well. i just hope i can measure up to their high high standards!! today we got back from practice superearly cuz we left for practice early, too, and so then i tried to study GSC but kept falling asleep. so bad. so tired. and tonight i'm getting to bed @ like 9:45 at the earliest which depresses me cuz that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo late. :-(
