BPAL Review - Black Opal
A play of geological darkness and jagged brilliance. Soft and luminescent with flashes of black fire.
In bottle - Wow, this is *really* faint. I can smell vanilla just barely...and a hint of something else sweet, but it's hard to pick out.
On me, wet - Vanilla and maybe tonka? Some coconut, too. Kind of reminding me of the coconut tanning oils my mom used to wear when I was little, but not nearly as strong and definitely with a lot more vanilla. This is very nice.
On me, dry - Vanilla, coconut, and something a bit mineral-y or metallic hiding in the background. It's pretty, and a good scent if you don't want to overpower a room.
Very pleasant to wear. Main drawback I'm seeing is just how soft and close to the skin this one stays. Trying a little in my hair to see if that helps me catch a few more whiffs of it.
