This Monday morning isn't so bad because my favorite work friend came in and announced that she got engaged this weekend. She really really wanted it (and has been talking about how badly she wanted her boyfriend to propose for as long as we have both worked here, which has been a year), so I'm so glad it finally happened. I'm not usually a ring person, but her ring is so beautiful (and HUGE!). And she's absolutely glowing, so I'm really happy for her. That makes an otherwise dull, drab morning into a relatively nice one.

I had a fun and adventure-filled weekend, and I will write about that as soon as I get a moment.
