This has been the longest weekend ever. The junior highers had Wintercamp this weekend and the camp needed some work crew so Mike, Colleen, Amamada, Lauren, Tim, and I volunteered to work. It was an awesome experience though to see all the junior high kids first starting to see God in their lives. Although this was the most work I have ever put effort into and the most tiring and painful time, I would do it all over again. Mike and I actually even talked to Wayne about being leaders for CAST. We thought that would be awesome. He just informed us about a meeting in April , but until then we can just show up and hang out with the kids. Its weird not totally remembering what it was like to be that age. You look at the kids and see these little shripmy kids and think of them so much younger but in reality you can have a conversation just as if with friends, so its really cool .Some of the girls seem pretty snotty but weren't we all like that at that age. I know I was. You're just becoming a teenager, so you think you're the most amazing thats happen in the world. I'm still in pain though from everything that I had to take day off to rejuvenate from everything. All though not everything has been so perfect and peachy in my life lately with work and school I'm really lucky to be part of such a wonderful group with some really amazing people. Its weird though, as much as we all say we have best friends that have been with us for so long we all admit that we're totally ourselves with our church friends. We are able to talk easier to each other and be who we really are and what we believe in. I feel thats the most important thing, and I am so thankful to have found this church and everyone there. Years of friendship with these people are what I'll cherish forever and will continue to remeber forever. Its axtually really sad to be leaving this year. True I'll be there next year to be a leader but its not exactly the same. I'll be one helpin gothers to realize all I do . I know I'lllove every minute of it though
