So much to talk about!!
Okay so it's been forever since I've updated...like literally!
So, I finished my first semester at Durham Tech...Absolutely love it there! I got all B's so I have a 3.0 for the first semester. That's not bad right? But this coming semester is gunna be a lot harder..Not really lookin' forward to that.
So Kevin and I are completely over and done with. I'm really enjoying just being friends with him. I think we've needed to be "just friends" for a while. I mean don't get me wrong, I still love him to death and I always will...I just don't want to be in a relationship with him right now. He has some growing up to do before I could ever see myself with him again. So now since I'm not with Kevin, I've been with this guy named Dewayne. He's great! I'm so happy with him...The other day we were layin' in his bed and he looked at me and said Guess what? so I was like what? and he said..."I think I'm startin' to fall in love with you"! I was like omg what the hell do I say. It was crazy. I didn't say it back to him because I don't just throw those words around...I have to truly love someone before I'll say that to them. But to be honest, I think I'm starting to possibly feel that way about him too. I mean seriously it's crazy to go from Kevin to Dewayne cuz they're just totally different. Dewayne actually respects me and doesn't lie all the time and I can feel that he actually cares about me...With Kevin, I knew that I loved him more than anything, but I never knew how he truly felt. Everything is so different...A good different. I can honestly say that I'm happy for once in my life. It's amazing!
So, Christmas was nice. My mom, brother, and I went to my Grandma's house on Christmas day and visited all my family and I got to see my adorable cousin Luke...Love him to death! We ate tons of good food, then went home. We got home at like 7:30 and my dad and step-brother (who I haven't seen in like 3 or 4 years) came and it was great to see them, but they left at midnight cuz we were supposed to have an ice storm or somethin' stupid like that...and OF COURSE nothing happened. So that sucked. I really miss my dad...It's so weird not seeing him...
Oh, and I'm gunna be an Aunt! My brother's girlfriend is pregnant...Not so sure if that's a good thing, however it's going to change my brother a lot, and that's definitely a good thing. I know my mom and dad are kinda stressin' about it (as any parent would) but personally, I'm excited!! I can't wait to be an Aunt...I'm gunna be the best Aunt ever!! :)
So, Thursday Kevin and Tim and one of my friends that I work with are comin' over here and hangin' out. Amanda wants to meet Tim...It should be interesting to see what happens with that situation...haha :) I think maybe they both just wanna get some...But hey sometimes you gotta do whatcha gotta do right? lol So we'll see. It should be fun anyway!
On Sunday I called out sick to work so that I could go to Liz's graduation party. I'm glad I did. I haven't seen my girl Liz in so long...I miss her!! Her family is just wonderful! I love them all!! I had lots of fun :)
Anywho, I guess that's pretty much what's been goin' on lately. Maybe I'll try to update more! I hope everyone is doin' wonderful...love ya's!
