Almost quitting time and I thought I'd update......
My grandfather is doing much better. A physician repaired his spleen yesterday. That took some recovery, but he looks good. They sat him up in bed this morning and by lunch, they had him up walking. He didn't get far, but nonetheless, any movement is a big improvement. As I type, he is having yet another procedure - a biopsy of the nodule on his lung. Please pray for him and the outcome. We won't receive the results until Monday, please pray for a good one.
Life has been hectic this week. Between working, visiting my grandfather, and all this house business, this week has flown by.
We met with our relator yesterday and made an offer on the house we looked at Tuesday. It was beautiful and in great location. Our offer was a little low, but atleast we have room to negotiate. Hopefully by next week, the bidding will be done and we'll begin the loan process. Thank goodness for Veteran Affair loans - we're getting an excellent rate! If this all works out, we'll be in the house two weeks before Christmas. What a great present that would be!!
