:-D Yes, I'll bring to fangirl night. I bought the DVDs but I'm going to just bring the fansubs. For some reason, my DVDs have funky subtitles... like they are too white-washed and high up on the screen. With white baseball uniforms constantly on the screen, I had a tough time seeing. I still encourage the buying of the DVDs though, it's just really annoying subtitle quality.

Let's see... there are several aliases for the series:

Oofuri, Okiku Furikabutte (full title), and Big Windup (English).

Will bring to fan nite. DVDs are also available for real cheap on amazon ($7), but the fansubs for some reason have better quality subs. Hopefully you guys won't be disappointed since I hype it so much due to my love of the characters. It's still a baseball anime, but they do a good job of making it real exciting and meaningful bc of the character motivations.

Can't wait to go to fan-night! I may bring some Kirin or Sapporo.
