(no subject)
It's been a week since the Oscars and all I can say now, after watching The Last King of Scotland, is that James McAvoy deserved a nomination. So Alan Arkin, who had like 20 lines the entire movie, gets the Oscar, but James wasn't even nominated? Meh. The ways of the Academy are beyond me. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy Arkin got it, it could've been Eddie Murphy, for God's sake! :) I was also very happy for Scorsese. And I have to admit that Forest was the right choice. I was rooting for Ryan, but Forest's General Amin was a true work of art.
Spring is here. OK, it's been here since November, but still, now it's official. :) I have beautiful flowers on my desk, I will be spending next week in Rome and the sun is shining. Things could be a lot worse, I guess. :D
My TV shows are obviously in a contest. Who gets to eat my brain first! And they're all doing such a great job at giving their best...
This show definitely knows how to get back after two or three filler episodes!
- they killed Starbuck. but... they can't kill Starbuck, right? RIGHT? *joins enigel in sweet sweet denial fest*
- I told you before Leoben was hot, but you didn't believe me. Well, do you believe me now? :D That Kara/Leoben paint!sex scene was beyond hot. Even Hotdog and his syph could feel it! :D
- I was spoiled for this episode, but I didn't wanna believe it. So I kept ignoring all the "put my picture next to Kat's picture" and "here's a nice angel for your ship, Admiral" signs.
- The sign I couldn't ignore was the "And that's all I'll ever be" line. Saying goodbye to Lee was hard to ignore. They were really sweet together this time. It was the last time, of course...
- great acting all around, but KS, JB and EJO took my breath away. Wow!
- Starbuck can't be dead. She CAN'T be dead. Her "special destiny" was to kill herself in a stupid cloud? Or was it to bring some shock audience? Nah, that can't be it. She's a Final Five, for sure.
- I loved this episode. That's what BSG is all about. Interesting plots, great acting and killing main characters. ;)
- Leoben is hot and Starbuck is a Cylon and she will be back. Soon.

OF COURSE this episode is followed by a long-ass hiatus, how else?! :/
- Mohinder got smart...ish! :) And then, quickly and totally dumb again. But always hot and that's a great quality. :p
- Claire thought she could escape the family, but that's the problem with having so much family: someone's always around, keeping an eye on you. :) In this case, grandma Petrelli. It was a nice twist though.
- Peter left Isaac with dead!Simone hehehe. And then he painted himself, only a brain lighter. Cold... See, Isaac? Drugs are bad!
- I hate that shape shifting chick with a passion. UGH!
- Mama Bennet was cool and acted as HRG's memory for once. It was sweet. :)
- Nathan seems so determined, but rarely is.
- Niki FTW! For once...
- Niki and Nathan make a very easy on the eye couple.
- Hiro needs to stop with all that over the top shit. It's annoying. But Ando to the rescue was cute.
- Sylar is mean and evil and cruel and needs to be my bf! :D
- OMG NO PETER, RUN... OR SOMETHING!! Mohinder, get down and help him! ;)
- at least Sylar got rid of Peter's annoying bangs, right? :p
