All it takes is a TV show
It was a long and painful wait, but... We're back in business! :) I missed my weekly dose of cliffhangers and teasers and shocks and squee. This is going to be a rather long and picture filled post, so be warned. :) Here we go.
First, on Monday evening, I went to enigel's and we watched
- any episode that has Gaeta in the opening scene, is a good episode ;)
- come on Adama, we all know you're NOT going to nuke Lee, WTF. Even Three knows it. And, crazy as she is, she's even willing to bet The Eye on that... BTW, my first girl crush ever, Caprica, is awesome in this episode! First she confronts Three on her craziness.
- Lee and Sammy are all manly and hot and in love with Kara. And they're also sweaty and glistening.
- poor Helo... to have to kill Sharon like that, must've been hell for him. Great acting on Tahmoh's part. He still has that stupid "the best waiter in the Universe" hair, but I love him nonetheless. :)
- Roslin can be such a bitch sometimes, it's amazing. Helo told her what she needed to hear, good for him. But in the end, she made sure that, if anything happened, it was their fault, not hers, Gods forbid! Great politician.
- Lee is a great soldier and tactician. omfg those arms...
- Dee goes to save Kara and get all snappy and bitchy about it. Although I didn't totally hate Dee this week, I can't say I feel exactly sorry for her. Remember Billy, Dee? Yeah, karma is a bitch.
- Hera is so cute! And Sharon was hellbent on getting her out of there and back to Galactica. I wonder if it's only her love for Helo that makes her wanna be there. I guess it's a little more than just that. And my Caprica was amazing again, snapping Boomer's neck and all. It's like she owns neck snapping. :D I said this before, but I don't get Boomer's change. What happened between Downloaded and now to make her see the Cylon path? From the way she acts, I'm guessing she's not completely over her human life, but now with Athena and Hera and all, she knows she can't get back to that, and it kills her. Literally. ;)
- I liked that Chief couldn't find the strength to blow up the Temple. Some things are important to us and we don't even know until we do. Lee, always the soldier though (when he's not the lover, that is!).
- So Xena recognized one of the final Five. BIG surprise there... Like they'd miss the chance to tease us once more. I'm pretty sure that not even the writers know yet who the Cylon is. :) But nice teasing anyway.
- Heh, Gaius is selfish and crazy and funny and a coward. I love him! :) "I'm not a Cylon! Frak!" Hehehe, frak indeed, Mr. Baltar, because... "Welcome home, Mr. President!" Lovely.
- I like it when things go nova, it looks good on screen! ;)
- Male bonding rules. :p
- "He's not dead?" Heh, Tigh was truly disappointed. I wasn't. :)
- Lee acted like a real jerk there, with Dee. At least he wasn't obvious or anything...
- Helo was happy and Hera wasn't crying anymore. I think it was that damn Basestar, it was making her dizzy... :)
- Didn't I tell you that Caprica is amazing? :) She came with Sharon! Now everybody who's somebody, is on Galactica. And that is how I like it. :D I wonder why she came though. It's not like Sharon isn't pretty good with Raptors... Hmm, we'll see! :)
- I'm feeling kinda meh about all this "my destiny is already decided" crap... It sounds very... I don't know, not Kara.
