My life as a TV show
After reading Kristin's Guide to What's Worth Watching this season, I came to a disturbing conclusion. I will be watching (at least for a while) 12 (TWELVE) new TV shows this season. Some will surely not stick, but still, if I'm left with half of those and it's oh so much! :D Let's keep in mind that I'm already watching:
- Battlestar Galactica
- Desperate Housewives
- House M.D.
- Lost
- Numb3rs
- Prison Break
- Stargate Atlantis
- Stargate SG-1
I'll probably never leave home again. Oh well! :D These are the new shows that I'm going to at least give a chance this fall:
Monday:
- Heroes (NBC) - this is most likely the best new show this year. For me anyway! I watched the (un-aired) pilot last night and I absolutely loved it! Ordinary people discovering extraordinary abilities. That, and Milo Ventimiglia. I'm SO there! :)
- Runaway (CBS) - Donnie Wahlberg on the run because he was falsely accused of killing someone. Prison Break anyone? ;) We'll see. It's Donnie, and I have a soft spot for Band of Brothers guys and ex-NKOTB people... :)
- Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC) - So.Much.Hype around this show... it better be good!
Tuesday:
- Standoff (FOX) - again, the same Band of Brothers thing. And there's two of them in this one! :) Kirstin's review is not great, but we'll see.
- Smith (CBS) - 4 bad boyz who are also hot? OK! ;)
Wednesday:
- Jericho (CBS) - I like Skeet Ulrich. And it's sci-fi. I'll give it a try.
- Twenty Good Years (NBC) - I will be watching this for John Lithgow.
- Day Break (ABC) - I'm not a big fan of Taye Diggs, but I like the plot idea... maybe!
- Kidnapped (NBC) - I saw the (again un-aired) pilot and I thought it was okay. And even if it wasn't, it has Jeremy Sisto, so it stays! :)
- The Nine (ABC) - As nine integral characters make their way into a bank, the sense of impending drama--and doom--will keep you riveted, and soon you'll be thrown into a world in which, in only 52 hours, life has changed forever for these victims of a bank robbery and hostage crisis. Good enough for me!
Thursday:
- Six Degrees (ABC) - another JJ Abrams show. That's it.
I have Fridays and Saturdays off, yay!! ;)
Sunday:
- Brothers and Sisters (ABC) - I will be watching this show just because I'm VERY curious if Calista Flockhart can be something else other than Ally McBeal... :) And because I like some of the other names in the cast.
And on top of all this madness, I still need to watch Six Feet Under season 5 and Deadwood seasons 2 and 3. And 24 all 5 seasons and Grey's Anatomy both seasons and... HELP? :D I won't even mention Dr. Who and Supernatural! :p
But guess what. Tonight is Prison Break night and that's all that matters! :)
Heh, after taking Kirstin's TV Fan Quiz, the results say that My Favourite New Show Will Be... Heroes! BIG surprise there. :)
