Shaped like a laughing Buddha with a defective hip

Did some more work on the Bes mask at last - Sunday was spent at D&D, Monday I can't remember a damn thing about really, Tuesday I woke up in horrific pain, took a bath, and went back to sleep, so today was probably my first good day to work anyway. Mostly just cleanup and fixing some undercuts. I think I have achieved basically done, which is ( Read more... )

Richard & I are going to be in Boston next weekend, but I'm guessing that you're probably far too pregnant to want to meet up. In the event that I'm wrong, we're free for dinner on Friday 24th and for lunch on Monday 27th. But I definitely won't be offended if you don't want to move :)

Yeah, I would love to be able to try meeting up, but I have a suspicion that my levels of cope at 39 weeks are not going to be sufficient to actually pull it off.

I hope your trip is a good one, though, and I'm sorry that I'm too full of baby to meet up with you.

Into the Woods is my favoritest musical ever- I was just talking to tiger_spot last night about how I have loved it since I was about 12, and unlike almost any other music I've liked since that age, I still find it really powerful and relevant. It resonates a lot about family & personal philosophy with me.

Yeah, some of the 'I need this right now' had to do with the '38 weeks pregnant' thing....

*nods* I can't directly sympathize with that condition, but I can certainly imagine that Into the Woods would be good with that.

I see you found the blog, too. ;)

I hope things continue to go manageably. This pregnancy jaunt sounds a bit exhausting and debilitating.

It is, at this point, a very strange form of hard physical labour in which the actual labouring part is almost entirely invisible-disability and thus leaves me feeling like a defective. (I am very prone to taking my moments of invisible-disability and afflicting myself with shaming ablism over them.)
