You know I might have bought that....
Just read a little news blurb about who turned down an offer to apppear on the cover of the May Playboy issue. Terri Clark is, in my opinion, one of the most awesome women ever to grace country music. I'd heard she'd been offered the shoot over the raido the other day, and was curious to know if she'd say yes. Well, she didn't but that's still cool.

"I'm mostly just a regular ol' girl who likes to have fun, play her guitar, drink some tequila, hang out with my friends," she explained in a statement to the media. "Exotic beauties and total sexpots get asked to do the cover of Playboy, not girls like me." She did admit she was pleased that Playboy realized that a "normal-sized woman can be sexy."
Tell me that isn't a woman to idolize. Hell, if she had said yes it might have been motivation enough for me to buy that issue. But what the hey, I'm weird like that. Even if she's a girl next door type, even I am willing to admit that she's quite a looker. Gotta love the strong female rolemodels wherever you find them.
