Today/tomorrow's assignment: list your five favorite Lilah characterizations in fic. Pick five stories, tell us why you love them, adore them, think they speak to the Lilah-ness of it all.

I don't have most of the links, but i have the titles. sorry.

1) Cliche by missmorganpryce (http://www.geocities.com/missmorganpryce/cliche.html) - ok, fine I wrote this story, but I love the way I characterized Lilah. The whole idea of this fic is that Lilah (and Wesley) started out one way, as a stereotyped femme fatale, but in her relationship with Wesley, she broke out of that 'cliche' and changed. Lilah is capable of change, as she proved in S4 and I think that's a really huge point.
2) Anna Begins by Jennifer-Oksana
Let me sum it up with one cut from the fic:
"You helped me," she murmurs softly, sounding as though her beating has stripped off decades of hateful varnish. "I want to
help you. Okay? Not anyone else. I'm still mostly selfish and
horrible."
3) Quartet by Roseveare
Lilah actually panics and gets scared in this fic. I dont see that a lot, and it's nice to see this side of her. But it's also good that it isn't taken too far, like with a hysterical Lilah. She also acts like a bitch:
"Maybe you get to die horribly knowing you sent all of us including your little girlfriend to Hell, and this dimension gets to eat your soul. And then at least there'll be one part of this that makes for a happy ending." She glanced nastily at Fred. "Two parts."

4) A Good Flirtation by hold_that_thought
Lilah trying her best to beat Wesley in the little games they play.
"Lilah never did learn how to quit properly"
5) Absolution, maybe by Jaclyn
Lilah wishing that the smile on Wesley's face is for her, and why she gets rid of the baby at the end, b/c she can't bring herself to have a kid in this type of family situation. mind blowing story.

6) Future Imperfect by Jennifer-Oksana
I agree with nolivingman, great Lilah mush and sweetness, if i ignore the fact that everytime i read this story my insides break apart b/c she breaks up with wes.
