Earth and Beyond is in it's last six months. It will be taken offline on September 22nd.
Kinda sad to say goodbye to the first real MMORPG I had the pleasure to play.
I don't think I'll bother to stick around to the end. Proly will log in to take screenshots of my characters and then cancel my subscription.
In other news, I went to Shopko for my interview. They made me do this lame inventory (test) asking about my personality and stuff. Took ten minutes. Then the boss lady made me wait five more while she reviewd my answers (?). When she called me back in, the conversation went like this:
Her: So I see you worked at Big Lots.
Me: Yes, for a year and three months.
Her: What was the reasoning for you to leave?
Me: Hostile enviroment really.
Her: I see. And Dippin' Dots? That's that little ice cream thing, right?
Me: Yes.
Her: Okay. Now we have positions in the GM side, which is like Electronics and housewares, furniture and the like. We also have spots in apparel. Which sounds most like you?
Me: GM. I can't stand working in apparel.
Her: Alrighty. I see you're available most anytime. And the two phone numbers? The 485-**** one is for your home?
Me: Yup.
Her: And the 771-**** is a cell phone?
Me: Yes.
Her: Okay. If you don't hear back by Friday, give me a call. Thank you for coming in.
Me: Thank you.
Then I left. I was like "What the fuck?" That was the SHORTEST verbal interview ever! She seemed kinda not as excited after looking over my test as when I first arrived.
So I really don't think she'll call me by Friday. *snoopy dance*
Hopefully Brian at EB will give me a call or will ask me when I can start next time I go in there.
