Interview
Hey, it went good.
I got there and managed to find a manager right away. She's a nice lady, who also signed me up for the little training video thing where I met Mark (another manager). I tell the lady (I can't remember her name!) I'm here for an interview and she says, "Oh really?!" All confused like. So she calls Jessica - a supernice younger lady- and they talk to each other for a moment.
Then Jessica says to me "Oh.. okay. Well Mark must have written it in his calendar and forgot to leave it on the main charts in the office." I confirm for her that he did write it on a calendar. "Okay," she says. "well... come with me and we'll see what we can do."
I get led to the office door where I'm asked to wait outside. Jessica and the other lady go inside and talk for around five minutes (Not really a big deal since at Big Lots I waited around 45 minutes for a manager!). Then Jessica comes out and hands me a clipboard with an application.
"Fill that out," she instructs me. "Let us know when you're done. We'll go ahead and give you an informal interview since Mark forgot to let us know you were coming." She smiles, reading my slightly concerned face. I'm wondering if I came down for nothing and if I'll have to get another first interview. "It'll count as your first one," she tells me.
So I fill out the application. Same old crap. Except this company actually requires drug testing.
So I fill it out and then sit in the office with the ladies while they ask me about my past experience with retail and customers and the like. Jessica broke up the seriousness near the end asking me how I felt about dog poop.
After a couple handshakes and thank you's, she says that Mark will call me back for a second interview.
Yay.
I'm going to call back on Thursday to ask for an interview. Doesn't hurt to be pushy.
In the meantime, I'm going to TRY and beat Evrae! A few FFX websites I've read say that he isn't too hard. What-the-fuck? I do well against him until he gets down to around 10,000 HP. Then he starts doing that scythe move and poison breath and yuck! I get my butt whupped. It doesn't help that last time I got a Game Over with Kimahri still standing!
