This city continues to amaze me...even 2 years later. I will be walking down the street and am still in awe that I live here. That I call Chicago home. That I can watch the sunrise over the lake and set behind the buildings. That I worked on the Magnificent mile and go to school in the south loop. That I have made some amazing friends who are always there for me and I have even found a guy that I truly loved. This is my life, everyday and I always stop and take a moment to appreciate this. To stare at the concrete mountains of architectural brilliance. To ride the train and buses as a way of transportation. To live in my own 300 square footage of coziness. To wander the empty streets when its nice outside. To sit in grant park or millenium and read a book or study. After two years I have yet to take advantage of this. I am in love with this city. It never seems to disappoint me.
