Ah yes, I <3 my new Elphaba icon!!! =D Do people like this one, or the one I had before? I can't choose... I like this one 'cause you can actually see her face, but I like that on the other one you can see she's flying in the air...

So I feel it's time for (yet another) update on my life!!!

My rubber-bands are OFF-- and I'm eating regular food again... it's just taking me a while to get used to eating solid foods again.

But in other news-- I HAVE A ROOMMATE! Yes, even though I posted my schedule before posting this, and I got my roommate assignment before I got my schedule. *coughs* Anyway--she's a cool gal from CA, and she seems really nice. We've emailed a few times, and she's awesome.

I also have gone shopping a little for my dorm... I bought a pretty pillow and some nice fluffy towels!!! I also got some hiking boots... I'm going to try to do some out-doorsy stuff this year.

I'm getting REALLY excited about college now! I have a cool roommate, my earliest class is 9:30, I'll have TV (so I won't miss my Law and Order: CI!!!), Muhlenberg's doing some cool plays (including Urinetown and Orpheus Descending), and other stuff. I'm getting into the idea of this college thing. =)

In other news, Jaime and I caught a Dixie Chicks concert. They were really good! I really enjoyed it, although the echo was too much and I couldn't really understand most of the lyrics... Plus, I now have two rules that I would like to ask people to follow:
1) Only leave during the middle of a song if there is a TRUE EMERGENCY--otherwise, sit tight until a break in the concert.
2) If you're with your "special someone"--by all means, hold hands, or put your arm around his/her shoulder. But please DON'T lean your heads together, as you'll block the view of the people behind you.
**3) DON'T STAND UP DURING A SONG YOU PARTICULARLY LOVE TO SHOW ENTHUSIASM!

People randomly stood up and started cheering when one of the songs began--and didn't sit down. Now, I was loving the concert. But I came to see the DIXIE CHICKS, not their fans. Sorry if this makes me seem like a mean and nasty person--I just didn't understand why people couldn't SIT DOWN and enjoy the music from their seats at a public concert. *sighs* Oh well. Just call me a party-pooper.
