I was just painting and began to wonder how I could do anything with my life other than paint. It's like the universe is in harmony.

Seeing the world through the eyes of an artist is amazingly rewarding. Everything is so much more beautiful and perfect in its own way.

Do you find that your level of 'astoundedness' depends on the time of day in any way?

Sometimes things seem more intense at night. I'm not exactly sure if this just has to do with a weird night mood or with fewer distractions because of the darkness. I think maybe it's some great combination of the two - objects seem more spotlighted at night, and I love dramatic lighting, so I'm sure that's a major contributing factor.
