Day of the Drabble

Two drabbles:

For hpgen100, here's an Arthur Weasley drabble,
Arthur was furious with Percy. Why would the boy get such ideas into his head? Why would he think his family wasn’t good enough? Why would he think he was important to the Ministry? Arthur was only mid-level, himself, but, unlike Percy, knew that quick rises were inevitably followed by sudden falls. Arthur was a very patient man.

With his beloved Molly, he had spent his life raising a huge family, sending them into every part of Wizarding society, making friends with everyone from Dumbledore to Muggleborns to Harry Potter himself.

When their Dark Lord called them, they were ready.

And for x_men100, here's a young Charles Xavier drabble,

The stained glass windows showed the Stations of the Cross, and the summer sun projected their golden patterns onto Charles’s bald head.

“Father, you’re telling me that if someone is born different, made that way by God, they should hide their difference?”
“Not hide, Charles. Abstain. God makes us in His infinite wisdom, and no matter how God has, er, gifted you, it is your choice to live a Christian life and abstain.”

Charles walked out into the glaring sunlight and shielded his eyes. He could feel Erik waiting for him, cool in the shade of a stone angel’s wings.
