*Life By Numbers*
1. It's late, but I wanted to gt in a quick update. Christmas is over. It's always so short. There's this huge build up and then you usually get a normal day that doesn't meet up to the two plus months of rose-colored expectations. Most of the things I wanted weren't monetary. And Santa don't bring that stuff in his sleigh.
2. As an adult, I never had NYE plans except once. I'm not someone who needs to go out and be shitfaced, because every one wants to do the same thing, and I'm fine staying home and loading up on junk food for that day. I did that the only time I had plans, and it was so much fun. This year (the 2007-2008 transition), I was determined to have somewhere to go and people to go there with. I ever bought a dress! Shit happens. Snow happens. Money disappears. And plans dissolve. I'll be ringing in the New Year alone. Again. Can't wait.
3. My computer has a shitty virus. Technically it's malware. I'm trying to fix it before it eats a whole in my harddrive. I called the geek squad and they're saying it'll be anywhere from $100-$300 to fix it. *grumbles* I don't know what to do, but my laptop can't crash right now.
4. Sister-bitch proclaimed I'd never have kids. And the cycle continues.
5. Still unemployed. See why this holiday season was so wonderful? (I counted the big blessings: family, health, food, shelter...)
6. I saw JUNO today. It was a very cute, cute movie. The dialogue comes off as contrived in the beginning, but you grow into it. It was the kind of movie where no one moves in the waning seconds of the film, because no one wants it to end.
7. 2008 better be better than 2007.
