Some questions answered!

I have received several e-mails from people with queries regarding ECFVG and in general the veterinary licensing process for foreign graduates in the US. I cannot possibly respond to it all (also some stuff I have already discussed here previously!) and also livejournal's interface has changed a lot so bear with me!

Hi, Can you please email me regarding the PAVE and ECFVG exams. I'm confused as to which exam I should take. I'm sick of studying for exams and reading your post gave me a little hope. But I know I still got to do them. I'd really appreciate it if you can email me at kathy.glamgirl@gmail.com

Ahhh PAVE versus ECFVG. I honestly do not know which one is better, I myself got licensed through the AVMA-ECFVG. The first three steps are similar, except for step 4 since only PAVE offers the Evaluated Clinical Experience which you would be responsible for. You would need to apply to a veterinary school and finish a clinical year. This sounds great and all, but only limited schools accept PAVE candidates and paying tuition for a year is still pretty hefty. It is really personal preference which you would prefer. I would go through both websites (ECFVG and PAVE and find out which works better for you.

Could you give some information about CPE. my email is garikikumar1@yahoo.com. I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks

Hello! What information do you need? Once you finish Steps 1 thru 3, and apply for Step 4, you will receive a manual. This will be your best friend. Read it, refer to it while studying, and analyze it up to a point where you've memorized what it says. It will give you a wealth of information regarding what you need to prepare for.

I tried to my best to do BCSE but I failed, please show me more tips, I use zuku a lots and SUDZ series guiding books, please help me.

On studying for the BCSE... ahh those were the days! There are different ways to tackle the BCSE and the NAVLE, but only one way of studying will be effective. That is to study smarter, and not harder! I used vetprep and zuku together because you have to train your brain to figure out answers by process of elimination. Zuku has a very good resource about study skills. Both vetprep and zuku have reasonable subscription rates AND if you do end up failing, re-subscribing is free!

I will not be putting links in here anymore since you can pretty much google ecfvg, pave, vetprep and zuku and it will take you to the correct website.

This is it for now! It is Thanksgiving weekend and I am sadly working a Saturday shift in a couple of hours! Toodles!
