Yesterday Ross was at Neils and helping him do come concreting for his neighbour. He also was helping him chop out this tree stump in his garden. Well, he put the axe down on the ground when he was done, and put his hand down to steady himself while he got back up onto his feet, and managed to catch his hand on the corner of the axe, and sliced a finger on his right hand open.
Luckily, he'd just sharpened the axe before he started, so it was a nice clean sharp cut rather than a blunt one, but he still got 2 stitches.
He said he'd be ok, but Neil kinda talked him into going to the medical centre. We've gotta go back today and get the dressing changed. He also had to get a tetanus shot, so I think he'll be sleeping that off this morning! Those bloody hurt!
He probably would have been ok if it was anyone else, but with the Von Willebrands, it really needed fixing up.
When the doctor put the local in for the stitches, he hit a nerve and apparently that really hurt!
That was our excitement of the day.
I was planning on making tacos for dinner, but by the time we left the medical centre it was 7.45 (this all happened around 5.30 so that's not too bad) so we just got some KFC drive through. It was allright.
They've recently renovated it, and it's really nice now! And instead of the fountain drinks, you get a can/600ml bottle if you upsize. I like that idea. Sometimes they get the syrup concentration wrong on the fountain and it's weird.
At the medical centre they've got a kids room, and so us 3 went in there while we waited, and Caitlyn and I watched Monstor's Inc (well, I watched it while she played with my phone) while I fed Ollie.
They did have a BF room, but some stupid bitch was in there BOTTLE FEEDING her baby. And when I asked if I could use it instead she got all snotty.
Stupid cow, you don't need a room to give your babby a bottle. Some people...
Ross doesn't like tacos much anyway, so I'll make myself them tonight and make him something else.
