Two woodblock-printed triptychs comprising:

1. A design of actors in variously shaped panels against a geometric background - a collaboration between Utagawa Kunisada and Utagawa Hiroshige, the landscape panel (right sheet) signed Oju Hiroshige utsusu and each sheet signed Toyokuni ga in a toshidama cartouche, published by Daikokuya Kinnosuke (Kinjiro), 1858, 3rd month

2. Mitsuuji and His Followers Visiting Futamigaura Beach in Ise; two women emerge from the sea on the left sheet having collected Awabi, which are being put into the basket ready for eating, by the woman on the right sheet, each sheet signed Toyokuni ga, published by Mikawaya Tetsugoro, 1857, 5th month
Each vertical oban triptych (each sheet approx. 35.3 x 24.4 cm.)
