I'm loving this story so much. Of course I am because you're the writer -- I have fond fic memories from VM, GG, etc. :). I can't wait to find out what happens next to Caroline and Klaus here, so I'm reloading a lot, lol. The slow build-up between them makes me happy. I'm glad you're not taking the easy way out and having her just fall for Klaus. It's realistic that she'd still be into Tyler and torn between him and this new world. Klaus is so in-character too, with his tension, anger, and threats of violence. The little moments of peace between them mean more contrasted with Klaus' tougher side. Great fic so far.

The little moments of peace between them mean more contrasted with Klaus' tougher side.Pretty much the only thing I'm requiring of myself in this fic is a slow build to something more. It would be completely out of character for Caroline to fall head over heels without some real introspection on her own part and growth on his. Still, I do worry about woobiefying him and I'm doing my very best to keep him a bit menacing, but also accessible ( ... )
