I'm glad too! I missed this fic so much and kept opening the document and *trying* to get it started and failing miserably each time. Then, when Sci-Fi *finally* started reairing season one episodes and I watched "33" andit reminded me of all the reasons I love this show and I started writing and couldn't stop.

Thanks so much for sticking with me. I can't wait to start the next chapter.

Aw, that's lovely. It's great to see this story up and kicking. I look forward to where it goes next. I wonder if, failing blowing up in a viper, Kara's child will help her come to terms with her own childhood.I'm so glad to be working on this fic again myself! Thank you for sticking with it

I loved this all, as usually, and particularly this: Kara doesn’t want to, but she’s Kara Thrace and sometimes she’s still Starbuck and she’s never backed down from a challenge in her life

So glad to see an update! I'm looking forward to seeing how you wrap everything up!

I was so nervous about updating because it's been so frakking long since the last time, so it's so nice to have so much positive response.

I think that line sums up Kara very well, and it's sometimes her strength and sometimes her weakness that she can never quite walk away. In this case, she made a committment to have the baby, no matter her feelings about the pregnancy, and she got through it one peace. Mission accomplished, except, since this is Kara, there will be further complications down the line.

Thank you! I'm so happy that so many people have stuck with this fic despite the enormous gap in updates. I was very nervous about this part, because the content was very hard for me to tackle and I'm rusty in writing BSG, but I think it turned out well despite my struggles, and I'm glad people are enjoying it.
