(no subject)
it's been quite a while since i wrote anything in a journal...too long, maybe.
but i have been rather busy, and things have been going very well overall.
school, SGI, friends - so many things have been happening to me since i moved to japan.
i'm not sure where to even begin. and i'm tired right now too.
rekha, lisa and kaori have been visiting since tuesday. it has been nice having them here.
today we went to onsen in maruseppu - it was in the mountains. and very beautiful. they have a lovely rotenburo. and a nice ofuro too. we had the whole place to ourselves. and i discovered that one of my friends works at the hotel there. her name is natsumi :) i met her at the tea ceremony thing i had with Sato sensei. she is very sweet and gave us free towels to use. hehe.
and tonight we had dinner with nozomi, hiromi and akkichan. we had indian curry and shabushabu. :) and then we went to karaoke. the new one that just opened :)
i am so excited that rekha taught me how to make her indian curry. it is soo good :) :) i was so happy to eat it. it has been a long time since kaori and i have eaten rekha's curry. it made me feel really good :)
and hiromi really liked it a lot too. she likes spicy food. so, she was also very yorokobimashita :)
well, i am really sleepy but i just feel really thankful that my friends have been able to visit this holiday :)
it makes being in japan seem unreal somehow. haha. having these familiar people around me just makes me remember SUA and all the great times we have had, and at the same time, remind me that we are going to be making more memories now and into the future. these are the kind of friends that you have for life. and i am very fortunate to have met these amazing people :)
