All of you with jobs/cars are lucky bastards
Why oh dear God why is it so fucking hard for me to obtain a job. I'm bored and broke and I need some form of employment. You think living in the city (well I'm closeto the city, but still in Baltimore) it wouldn't be soo hard. Well it wouldn't if I had a car or reliable transportation. It seems that every job I'm qualified for either requriers that I need a car or will take me an insanely long time to get there. For example, there is a job at a cafe in towson that wanted me to work as a cashier. My house is 10-20 minuets away form towson depending on where in the area I have to go. Since I have no car or anyone to drive me I have to depend on the bus which will take anywhere from 3-5 hours to get in the towson area. That is not an exageration. I try to find a job in the Baltimore metro area and I get places in Columbia, Laurel, Arundel Mills, Jessup etc. etc. These places are a bit away in a car imagine the bus commute. Only one bus travels to each of these places and each bus doesn't run all the time, exept the one for Arundel Mills but its an hour and half to two hour ride. On one bus! It's ridiculous. I'm tired so I'll stop this rant for now. Thinking about my state of unemployment and having to always deal with the bus gives me a headache.
