Jonny Knoxville and Sean William Scott in one movie? phew. Plus, Jessica Simpson, despite being dim, you can't deny she has a body to die for, is it possible for one film to contain so much hotness? lol
I saw that on Saturday with my teenage 'cousins' I feel so bad because I promised that I would take them to see Mary Poppins in the West End, but you can't buy discounted tickets at the weekend and I couldn't afford fifty pounds each so we had to opt for a movie.
In the evening I went out with Alenka and the rest of the BP kru. We went to the K bar in Chelsea, which was quite rubbish. It was too packed, too small, too smoky and too dark. I couldn't see anyone and anyway no one was talking to each other. So we left quite early to go to AJ's boyfriend's birthday shindig at 5 Cavendish Square which is the coolest place ever. It's a hotel/club in one of those HUGE town houses off Oxford Street. The decour and the atmosphere was great, the ceilings amazingly high. They played some decent music too. A bit Euro popey at one point, but I heard the best mix Bob Marley's could you be loved with breathe by Blu Cantrell and Sean Paul. Sounds awful, but it wasn't, I really liked it.
At 3 no one was ready to go home so we went for food in China Town, scrummy. We got back to Akenka's in Old Street at 5, chatted for a while, slept at 6. I awoke at 2pm Sunday! Bummed for a bit, went for roast lunch, drove home, cleaned room for 3 hours, went to sleep.
Today, went to see the second instalment of new work at the Queens Theatre. I really like the way the play was written but it irritated me because he used a concept that I have read before. It was a point horror story, where a group of seemingly random people are lured to a shopping centre because they have won something. They are then locked inside and tortured until they work out that they all somehow did something wrong to this guy and he is now punishing them. Even down to the fact that one of them was a doctor and he didn't do anything wrong to the man in question, but to a family member. grrr... it seemed like such a coincidence. hmm.
I received phone calls from Jasprit, Haroon from uni and Nathan today. I'm so popular lol. Its getting worrying how much I have to do and the amount of people I need to see/speak to in the next week and a half. plus I am running out of money and people keep suggesting things to do :s I really should have been better prepared. Always the procrastinator. So I'm going to see Red Eye and to Lunch with Nathan tomorrow. Day with Ad Wednesday, seeing my cousin and her sons Thursday as well as going to Tottenham Court Road to buy my camera Thursday and then watching an arthouse movie and catching up with Haroon on Friday. I have a wedding Friday and Saturday night and my leaving bbq on Sunday and then that's my last week.
holy shit.
I've got to start getting sorted.
I'm off to watch Monsoon Wedding another one of those films that makes me feel better about the state of humanity. I would watch Amelie but i've seen that quite a few times recently, what with they way things have been and the state of me and i don't want to wear it out. So i shall switch forms of hapiness. I would like to go downstairs and watch Closer on box office but not only would that depress me but also that means moving from my bed, whereas i can watch a dvd on my laptop. lazy me.
I know that i should say everything that i hold inside of me, but i know that if i put it out there and you say no then i will be lost.
or maybe i'm scared of you saying yes. either way i need to start acting like an adult.
*sigh*
