I Am In Shock !
I haven't spoken to my step mum or little brothers and sister in over two years. I tried a few things over the years to get back in contact (even when I moved interstate, we spoke wkly)with them... but with no luck. Their number was disconnected permanently and I tried going to their house on visits back to QLD and when I moved home... They have never met Annika, I'm not even sure if they knew I was pregnant...
Anyway doing a search trough school friends dot com. and realised I should try that, to no avail :(
I knew my cousins first name and the school she went to but since her mother is my fathers sister and had married, I had no luck there either(I couldn't remember even hearing their surname). I finally remembered my Aunt's first name (Yea, sad I couldn't remember huh :P), anywayz by chance her married name was listed in there but no email addy :( and I wasn't sure if it was her either (I know very little about my biological dad's family)... So I cross referenced it with my cousins name and viola... she was there :D
And yes... so was her e-mail addy...\o/ whoo hoo... I am so stoked... I get my family back...
I miss them all heaps and I haven't seen my littlest cousin (at last count) since he was 6mths old... he'd be 10 now, and there are so many more, some I have never even met :(
Damn... Christmas is gonna get expensive, but guess what I don't care :D I want my kids to know their Aunt and Uncles... Chantelle (my little sister) And I used to be very close...and we shared everything for years and knowing what I do about her... I am sure she has made me an aunty too... I can't wait to find out *sigh*... Now to hear back from Denise :D
