Why have I never seen this before?
My class was canceled this morning. I would have approved more of such events had I known last night it was going to be canceled. I keep trying to put two l's in canceled. that is wrong. Anyway, I was very exhausted from yesterday's adventures with the Sirly and her questionably functioning vehicle. And then the rain. And then the homework. As such, it would have been nice to sleep in this morning. Instead I was completely awake when I found out. And really I'm pretty lucky-- I don't usually check my e-mail in the mornings, but something made me, and lo and behold-- cancellation! Wait. . . why does canceled have one l and cancellation has two? English is screwy.
I don't know though-- I'm not a huge fan of my classes being canceled, especially this semester since I have 10 weeks of classes and then 10 weeks of student teaching. It means we've got one less week to cram everything in. My professor was sick, it's not like she was just taking a vacation. But whatever.
I'm watching The Office for the first time ever. Why is this the first time? I don't know-- I've been missing out. It's pretty amazing. I've heard good things, but I've also heard good things about American Idol, so I don't take society's good things into consideration very often. OMG They just QUOTED Princess Bride. *Swoons* This show is almost making me feel normal and NOT socially awkward. How rare is that?
We had a silent dinner tonight for ASL club. It didn't go fabulously, the waitress kept asking if we could talk. I think it clues people in when so many people in the club are passing pens and paper-- but at the same time, I remember needing pens and paper. I was very proud of myself today though because I only used paper when other people needed me to, not because I needed to.
