okay...here's the coreys...

so a week ago i'm shown an add in the local paper that 'Two Coreys Productions Inc' are presenting Corey Feldman with special guest Corey Haim at a local club in vancouver. (add currently taped to my fridge. oh yeah.)
i thought my eyes must be deceiving me. surely the two coreys were not coming to vancouver. further- i never read this paper; so without my wonderful guests showing it to me, the two coreys would have gone without notice. and what a shame that would have been. and with huge luck i managed to convince everyone to come with me (even though aazadeh complained the entire time. until i reminded her that no one was forcing her to stay.) and the price of admission was a canned good for donation.
i mean, given the above...can it get better?

the two coreys "jamming" together at the end of the show.

here are some more wondershots of our coreys...

so at the beginning of the show there was much fog. and feldman came up out of the floor with this wild hat on. my prediction is that he believes the hat will help him look taller. because that man is short. i mean his microphone is way lower than his band mates. short short short.

haim spent a majority of the night at the bar doing shots (conveniently close to us. wicked). he frequently hit on the bartender and played around with his lollipop. yes i realise how ridiculous that sounds. we're perplexed about how he got that bruise on his forehead, but i have a few theories. note the guy beside him has a little ear thingy, signifying hired security and not friend.

i think this one pretty much speaks for itself. my initial reaction was: "are those his tats? wow, that's really nice work. wait a minute..." and then i believe heather and i simultaneously shouted at eagan to get closer to take some pictures. i love that we think the same sometimes. this shirt is pa-thet-ic.
and i won't even get started on his band. it's just a little sad. i mean, feldman clearly takes his band very seriously. but really, people like us go there for the back in time factor of seeing two 80s stars that we grew up with and check out what they are doing now. that's a pretty big disconnect....

so the rumour is that the coreys are putting together a reality tv show; though i heard that the event in vancouver was taped for a documentary special. let's keep our fingers crossed for that reality show. train wreck!!!
