(no subject)
i disappeared, but now i'm back.
there was forced divorce from lj for a few weeks as i finished up the term (aka did presentations, wrote papers, marked crap, got snowed in. stupid bc having snow when ontario didn't. shesh).
i'm in ontario again.
my kitten has a little folded ear now (post-cone incident. or i guess pre-cone. whatever) and between us, i think he might be slightly senile but we'll let that pass for now.
ontario-home is good. it's all decorated for christmas (which is going to be a mad house this year. crap) so it looks pretty.
tomorrow i'll see my mom and check out where she moved to, so that's exciting.
i also have three hockey games lined up: one in buffalo next week against montreal and then we are seeing toronto against washington on the 23rd. i'm super pumped. we scored tickets off ebay! and then we are seeing toronto and boston on jan 1st. i'm so freaking pumped. i have to cram in all the hockey i can while in ontario- i have no hockey buddies in bc yet.
it's nice to be 'home'. i'm exhausted, but still alive. survived my first term of the program. ye-haw.
oooh and i got the graduate fellowship for the summer term- which is super helpful coz there are less ta jobs then...and this way i won't starve aka go into super debt.
my cat has just jumped up for a cuddle.....he really is suckier now! must snuggle....
