School's started..again
Welp, school's started back up. The last fall semester I'll have!!! yay!! All should go according to plan because I am determined to graduate on May 10, 2008. I haven't been to all of my classes yet because the semester just started yesterday, but I've been to two so far and well, let's just say I've got my work cut out for me.
Here's my schedule:
MWF
1 - 150 pm SOCL 303 Family in Transition
W
7 - 10 pm GOVT 490 Senior Seminar
T TH
11 - 1215 SOCL 321 Criminology
1 - 215 GOVT 375 Employment Law
4 - 515 RSTD 362 New Testament
So, Monday's and Friday's aren't so bad...I've only got the tough stuff during the middle of the week, which is pretty good. I've only been to SOCL 303,which doesn't seem bad at all, and SOCL 321, which seems like I'm gonna have to bite the bullet for it. There's quite a bit of work...but I don't think it'll be as bad as I'm making it out to be. There's 21 articles we have read over the entire semester...so that's really like 1 a week, maybe 2 2 or 3 weeks. All I need to do to get 5 points on each is read it, print myself a copy and mark it up, bring it to class and talk about it in groups, and that's it. Not too bad. The professor thinks we should get a 3 ring binder and a hole punch to keep the articles organized...which is a good idea..but he suggests a 3 inch binder, abd all of mine are 1 or 1 1/2 or something. We'll see if I can manage like that..if not, I'm making a trip to the dollar store.
I'm supposed to be meeting up with Jenn and Michelle for lunch around 230 today. I'm pretty happy about that. I haven't seen them in a while. It'll be nice to get re-acquainted. Especially since Jenn is going to be one of my bridesmaids!! :-)
I think now I'm just killing time, there's really nothing for me to do and I figure, why walk all the way back to my apartment when I can just sit here in the computer lab til my 1 00 class which is by here? I know the exrecise would be good, but I've gotta walk back over there anyways later, so I'll do it then. Hey, it's a decent walk to get over here, so leave me alone. lol
