the picayune has been following this scary ass story all week. it's about the loss of our wetlands and how new orleans only has 10 years left before the land underneath it washes away. it's pretty chilling and i urge everyone to read this. because if there's one thing i've learned about all this is that no one is safe. most of us live along the water and that water just keeps on rising thanks to global warming and all the other ways we're destroying the world. *sigh*
