Actually, I would wave at the velociraptor then run like hell in the opposite direction to the place on the bunk bed where ol' big claw was chained. If the chains were the same length, at the end of my chain I would be out of his reach (just). Of course, the bunk would move a little, so I would have to keep my own chain short...
