(no subject)
Hehe I've just ordered a book and tape on Amazon that will teach me to speak Welsh. I figured that since I'm going to be teaching in Welsh schools next year then I should at least know the basics. I also ordered a book about secondary school teaching yesterday. We were told that it would be useful to help us with our first assignment which is:
'Discuss critically the factors which help pupils make effective progress in learning in general and, more specifically, in your subject.'
I've just been told off for not bringing the milk in. Oops!
I'm going to go the gym later. Then I'm doing a rehearsal for a clarinet thing. That should be interesting. I'd better actually get my clarinet out and see if I can still play first!
I started reading 'Great Expectations' yesterday. I've been meaning to read it for ages, but never find time during term time.
