..Here's Johnny...
My dad and i just got done spending some 'quality' time together, at least thats what he likes to call it when we watch TV in the same room, anyways, we just watched to special they did on Johnny Carson. But my dad said something that really got my thinking and it made a lot of sense, he said:'all the heros are dying, there are none left'. I think hes right, i cant really think of anyone these days that stand out like most people in the public eye did back in the day, get my drift? I mean yeah there are the few gracious ones that actually do something and impact other's lives, but not one really stands out. I was really surprised that Ed MacMahon didnt say anything or go on the show tonight, which made us think, did he die and us not know about it, because i dont remember hearing about him dying. It seems like a lot of people, not just celebrities, but people in general, are dying at a rapid pace, it seems like at least once a week i hear of someone dying or getting hurt, you would think with our so called 'technology' we could do something about it, but then again, you cant really stop death.
