(no subject)
Well, I've got about ten days left of living here.
Looking forward to a lot of things in the new house. Not just moving in with some very cool people, some damn good mates (who I haven't seen nearly enough of) and a few other equally solid people I'm looking forward to getting to know.
Looking forward to being able to take ten steps into the lounge and find people to chillout with (gawd, my phonebill's gonna be so damn CHEAP!)
And, of course, I'll be a lot closer to Uni. Getting to lectures as well as social stuffs is going to be SO much easier!
On top of that, I can't wait to see more of the Homestead lot, the RP lot and the circus lot - once I'm closer to Uni and also have a *real* place to (in come cases, eh?) lead people back to, I'll get to spend a lot more time with 'em. Haven't seen nearly enough of a lot of people lately and tho it's going to be a tad quiet, what with a lot of them shooting off elsewhere over the summer, at least half of them are still kicking around.
Plus, there's that whole thing of "other mate's mates". Between the 7 of us, we've got a huuuuge variety of social peoples. I imagine I'll be seeing a lot more of some people I never really got to know.
But then there's the other side...
It's been an awesome few months living with Mike. Without getting too syrupy about it (pass the pancakes), I've spent some of the most content moments of my life here. Now I'm already starting to look around the room and pick out what's mine, I'm starting to realise that this is coming to an end.
It's not like we won't see each other, but... well... anyone who's ever been this attached to someone knows what it's like when you go away. I'm not a clingy person generally, so looking forward to having my own space, but I've just gotten so *used* to him being around. My new room's gonna feel so big and girly!
But overall, I'm feelin rather content with the state of the world right now. :-) Off to work in a bit.
