Planted a bunch of seeds today! All the plants are organic and we tried to get as many heirloom plants as we could find..
Germination 5-10 days:
Basil, grows to 22 inches.
Germination 7-10 days:
Brandywine tomatoes, heirloom, tasty large pink and weighing up to a pound!
Big Rainbow, golden color with red and ribs, and weighing up to two pounds!!
White Bush Scallop Squash , and ready to be eaten in 50 days.
Germination 7-10 days:
Evergreen long white onions, mild scallions, ready in 60 days!
Germination 10-12 days:
Echinacea Purple Coneflower, a popular prairie wildflower, growing to 30 - 42 inches in height.
Germination 10 - 14 days:
Red Sun Sunflower, takes 75-90 days to bloom, and is 5 feet tall!
Mixed colors Sunflowers (lemon, gold, white, creamy white, brown, bronze and crimson).
Germination 12-14 days:
Clemson Spineless Okra, fleshy ribbed pods, ready in 58 days.
Salvia Blue Bedder Sage, with delicate silver-blue color and growing to 12 inches in height.
Germination 10-20days:
Poblano Peppers, very mild hot pepper and plump and dark green in color. 80 days to harvest.
Johnny Jump Ups, pansy-like flowers in lavender, violet, and canary yellow. 6-10 inches high.
Germination 14-21days:
Short and Sweet Carrots, ready to be eaten in 68 days -- yum
Dark Opal Purple Basil, grows to 18 inches.
Black Eyed Susan, long lasting flowers and one of my favorites! 18 to 24 inches high.
