"Drink up, me hearties, yo ho!"
I would like to begin this posting with an amusing picture from last night!

So my schedule has been pretty crazy lately. In 5 days, I will have 4 days off. And I can't take it anymore. Today was my 3rd free day of the four.
But last night was a blast. There were so many people at MK yesterday...me, Phil, Ben, Crystal, Rob, Cynthia...it was so much fun! And I had a lot of fun working the Halloween Party. I get two more coming up next week. Next week I get to hang out with five friends, three of whom I've never been with before. I'm sure that June, Terk, and Bashful will be polite. :)
Anyway, so today. I decided to play Suzy (and Perla) Homemaker today. I did my laundry, cleaned my entire bathroom and kitchen, got the mail, ran out the recycling and trash, washed the dishes, went grocery shopping, did some prep work for cooking later in the week, and made raspberry cheesecake bars. I also found out that my bank does exist down here. Too bad I got lost trying to find the ATM. I'll try again later. While doing all of this, I watched reruns of "I Love Lucy," quite possibly one of the greatest shows of all time. It made me miss Saturday nights with my mom. We used to watch an hour of Lucy on Nick at Nite, followed by the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. It was our thing. I miss it.
So my conclusion...after my entire day of staying at home with no company and doing those chores, I have finally realized why women fought for their right to be part of the workforce.
Tomorrow should be an interesting day. I'm running around a little to help friends with things and then Rob and I are finishing the Halloween costumes. At the last minute, we're all going to Mickey's Not-So Scary Halloween Party tomorrow night. What originally started as Phil wanted to go as Peter Pan has blossomed into the following:
-- (sometime in early September)...Phil as Peter Pan
-- (about a week later).......................myself as Wendy
-- (last night).......................................Crystal as Tinker Bell
-- (last night).......................................Ben as either a chimney sweep or a pirate
-- (last night).......................................Rob as John
-- (last night).......................................Cynthia as Michael
We're also going with a whole group of Phil's friends. I am bouncing off the walls for this! After I get off of work, I'm meeting Crystal and she's going to help me do my hair and then we're all going to hit the park as early as we can to pre-party before the party starts. I can't wait!!
Well, I have a long day ahead, so I'm going to call it a night.
