"Wrapped up in pixie dust..."

So here's my week at a glance.

I got to spend all week hanging out at the Hollywood Studios with a good friend of mine.  It's been an interesting week to say the least and I have the bruises to prove it.  lol

I got my monthly evaluation this week, too.  The man said that I had amazing energy and did a great job being lively, enthusiastic, and exciting.  He also told my partner that he was very lucky to be working with someone like me.  His final comment was that he hoped everyone he observed had as much energy.

I went to the Adventure's Club this week with Paul, Crystal, and Cynthia.  I tried this amazing drink called a Kungaloosh.  It's an exclusive to the club...a mix of Captain Morgan, blackberry brandy, sweet and sour mix, and daiquiri mix.  Oh, it's so good!  Potent, but good.  And I got to keep the souvenir glass.  One of the performers made Paul get up and say that she was the most attractive woman ever.  Afterwards, she said, "Oh, you are definitely getting some later."  When we were leaving the library at the club, two of the performers were making comments about all of the people leaving the room.  I was wearing my new "It's all about the princess" shirt and one of the guys said, "Oh, look at that woman with the bling on her breasts.  There's another woman I'll never have."   lol  It was a good night.

After a very long week, I splurged at Wal-Mart and bought Scattegories.  I've been wanting to get that game for a while and everyone I hang out with is getting tired of our other games.  I played it last night with people after we got back from Cici's.  It was a fun night.

Paul and I went to a birthday party for a girl that he works with.  The next morning, he made me breakfast.  (His blueberry muffins were wonderful!)  We decided to spend the day resort hopping.  We went to the Polynesian and he loved it there.  Noting to make a point to go eat at O'Hanas before we leave, we walked past the Wedding Pavilion to get to the Grand Floridian resort.  He said that the inside lobby is a lot like the cruise ships he's been on.  We both agreed that the Grand Floridian was a great hotel, but too fancy for a vacation.  Likewise, we both agreed that the Contemporary did nothing for us.  Paul had never ridden in the front cab of the monorail, so we rode the monorail from the Contemporary all the way around to the Magic Kingdom.

We got off there and took a boat to the Wilderness Lodge.  We met another family originally from Ohio and our boat driver was from Ohio, too.  (Small world, huh?)  We both loved the Wilderness Lodge and decided we needed to go back to the Cafe for a meal.  Paul and I wanted to take out a Searacer (little motorboat) when we realized we got 50% off, but they were closed, so we decided to head back.  We ended up taking the boat that went to the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Contemporary.  The boat ride ended up being about half an hour, but it was great.  The weather was comfortable and the water was wonderful.

This week promises some fun and excitement.  Rob and I are supposed to go shopping before we go down to the House of Blues.  Pleasure Island closes this week, so Paul and I are planning to hit the Adventure's Club at least once more.  The Blast Off party is Wednesday night, but it might be going to see "Kiss Me, Kate" instead.  (Ben's friend Brittany did the costumes.)  I get to spend more time at Epcot this week and I'll hang out with friends I haven't seen in a long time.  Crystal's birthday is coming up, as is Paul's.  Hopefully Ben will be feeling better soon.  He's been sick for the past few days.  Thankfully, Liddy is feeling better.

And our housing inspection is Monday.  Clara and I spent the day today cleaning the apartment and saving the day by driving Jackie to work.  :)

Much love and pixie dust!
